In this week’s issue, Donald Trump upped his lying game this week during an appearance on Fox & Friends to talk about the inspector general report on the FBI’s handling of the 2016 election on Friday. The biggest lie being that Trump says the IG report says he did nothing wrong. The IG report did not come to any conclusions about the true nature of Trump-Russia ties. It only covered the appropriateness of the FBI’s conduct in 2016. It couldn’t come to any conclusions about obstruction of justice because Trump didn’t become president until 2017.

Trump Lies Again and Blames Dems for Family Separations
Public outrage has reached a boiling point in recent days over the Trump administration’s newly implemented tactic of separating migrant families at the US-Mexico border under the “zero-tolerance” policy. But the Trump administration’s zero-tolerance policy is just that: a policy. NO PART of US immigration law specifically orders that families must be split up at the border. He could change this with one oversized signature on an executive order, but because he has no heart and is a racist, he won’t.

This is bound to crash and burn. Ariana and Pete were reportedly telling people about the engagement at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday.

This moment gave me the chills. The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School drama students sang of love and loss in an stirring performance of “Seasons of Love” from the musical Rent. The students sang on a solemn, dark stage with lights centered on them, after which they received a standing ovation.

Chloe Dykstra opened up about her painful experience with an unnamed former boyfriend in an emotional first-person essay. In her essay, titled “Rose-Colored Glasses: A Confession,” the 29-year-old actress and TV personality doesn’t name the subject, though certain key details led many fans to believe that she is referring to ex-boyfriend Chris Hardwick. Side note. Chris Hardwick is also a dick.

How did I totally forget that Nicole Kidman is in Aquaman? As long as Jason Momoa is sans most of this clothes for the movie, I am totally in!

Garfield won the best performance by an actor in a leading role in a play for Angels in America, and his speech honored the LGBTQ community. “So, I dedicate this award to the countless LGBTQ people who have fought and died to protect that spirit, to protect that message, for the right to live and love as we are created to. We are all sacred and we all belong, so let’s just bake a cake for everyone who wants a cake to be baked,” he said. “Thank you so much.”

Do you research before you tweet NPH. Rachel Bloom served as the backstage host at Sunday’s ceremony. During the broadcast, Harris tweeted, “Who is the woman in the top hat backstage at @TheTonyAwards. Gideon remarked that she says ‘like’ and ‘oh my god’ a lot. I’m confused…”

President Donald Trump went on Fox & Friends to talk about the inspector general report on the FBI’s handling of the 2016 election on Friday. His comments contained at least four significant and demonstrable lies. Trump claimed Friday that former FBI Director James Comey’s actions were “criminal.”

He also said the Justice Department inspector general report examining the Clinton email probe came to the wrong conclusion when it said the FBI acted without political bias against him. “The end result was wrong. I mean, there was total bias,” he told Fox and Friends from the White House North Lawn.

He said it “totally exonerates me,” adding that it showed that Comey was the “ringleader” of a “den of thieves.” Lie. Lie. And WTF?

Fox News if finally telling the truth! Abby Huntsman made the blunder while narrating live the US president’s arrival in Singapore ahead of Tuesday’s summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, during a Fox & Friends broadcast. “Regardless of what happens in that meeting between the two dictators, what we are seeing right now, this is history,” she said.

Solomon Lartey, 54, and Reginald Young Jr., 48, told Politico that after the Trump administration came to power their jobs quickly became piecing and Scotch-taping pieces of hand-shredded paper together for the National Archives. After reading documents, Trump could not be deterred from tearing apart papers and throwing the pieces into the bin after he had finished with them, or worse, onto the floor.

Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, invoked the Bible to defend the Trump administration’s immigration policy of separating mothers from their children. Sanders said: “I’m not aware of the attorney general’s comments or what he would be referencing, [but] I can say that it is very biblical to enforce the law. That is repeated throughout the Bible.”

If I was Donald Trump, I’d really start shaking in my boots. There are conflicting reports on Cohen’s current intentions. George Stephanopoulos reported Wednesday morning that Cohen’s legal team will leave his case and that he is now “likely to cooperate with federal prosecutors in New York,” with that cooperation “believed to be imminent.”

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner may be working as unpaid White House advisers, but the couple isn’t doing too badly with their side gigs, bringing in at least $81 million of outside income. 🤯

Well played! Hillary Clinton distilled two years worth of hurt into a simple, biting tweet on Thursday evening as she responded to news that James Comey, whose pursuit of her personal email use she believes cost her the 2016 election, had conducted official business on a Gmail account.
The Excess
  • An immigrant from Honduras took his own life while in custody after both his wife and child were separated from him on the U.S-Mexico border. In recent weeks, the pace of children being taken from parents has shot up dramatically. This must stop now.
  • LGBTQ rights supporters and people celebrating Pride welcomed Vice President Mike Pence to Columbus, Ohio, on Friday with a “Big LGBTQ Dance Party.” YASS! Crowds converged on a small stretch of Gay Street — you read that right — outside the hotel where Pence was speaking to a separate group about tax reform.
  • Michael Cohen had a very, very bad day on Friday. Federal prosecutors investigating U.S. President Donald Trump’s longtime personal lawyer have extracted more than 700 pages of messages sent using encrypted programs like WhatsApp and Signal on phones seized from Cohen.

This dog deserves a major treat! A pit bull puppy is being hailed as a hero by a family in California. A family was able to escape unharmed, thanks to their 8-month-old pit bull Sasha. The pit bull alerted her owner that something was wrong first by barking and yelping, before any of Nana’s human senses detected that anything was wrong. “I ran into the room and I see Sasha (the pit bull), she has my baby like by the diaper, just dragging her off the bed trying to get her to safety,” Nana Chai described.
